Job Title: Froster

At Nothing Bundt Cakes, we're committed to bringing joy to our guests and our communities. As a Froster, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our cakes are of the highest quality and consistently meet our brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow our proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision to achieve productivity goals.
  • Effectively utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes.
  • Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintain appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels.
  • Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs.
  • Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
  • Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure NbC standards are met and inform management of any quality control issues.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock workstations, ensure frosting supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift, and wash equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee.
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
  • Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Requirements:
  • Ability to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.

  • Physical capacity to lift items of moderate to heavyweight (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work on a tight, fast-paced production schedule.
  • Ability to evaluate products, processes, information, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
  • Discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
  • Diligence, organization, and self-motivation, with the ability to prioritize workload and operate independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation:

$14.00 per hour
