Hours: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Mon-Fri (flexibility needed)

Overview:
The Facility Maintenance Attendant plays a crucial role within the Facilities Maintenance team, ensuring that all designated operational areas, restrooms, laboratories, cafeterias, and office spaces are kept clean and well-maintained. This position is essential for the preservation and upkeep of the organization’s buildings and facilities. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness by collecting and disposing of waste from various locations, including cGMP areas.
  • Regularly sweep and clean floors, ensuring all areas are orderly and presentable.
  • Consistently uphold cleanliness standards in manufacturing, laboratory, cafeteria, and office environments.
  • Empty trash receptacles, securely tie plastic bags, and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as necessary.
  • Assist in transporting small equipment or tools between different departments.
  • Set up tables and chairs for meetings and events as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED.
  • Prior experience in a porter or housekeeping role is PREFERRED.
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents, applying safety rules and operating instructions is REQUIRED.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with team members is REQUIRED.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are REQUIRED.
  • Attention to detail and focus on specific tasks is REQUIRED.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as needed by business demands is REQUIRED.
  • Immediate availability for work is necessary.
