  • 0.5 FTE (40 hours per two-week period)
  • Day/Evening shifts with varying start times and shift length
  • Week 1 schedule: Wednesday-4:30 PM-8:30 PM & Saturday-8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Week 2 schedule: Sunday-08:00 AM- 08:00 PM & Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday-4:30 PM-08:30 PM
  • Benefit-eligible position

Job Responsibilities:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant, you will provide safe, quality patient care, while assisting technologists with transport and care of patients. You will maintain electronic files, distribute patient reports, and coordinate information flow between patients and clinics. Other patient care and clerical functions as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a link between physicians, clinics, and service departments
  • Assists technologists in delivering patient care
  • Provides image and data management
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous patient care or Medical Terminology

Licenses/Certifications:

  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required by completion of orientation within 30 Days

Physical Demands:

  • Medium Work*: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently
