Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating intricate tax filings, including multi-state returns for individuals, estates, trusts, partnerships, S corporations, and other business entities
  • Conducting thorough research and remaining informed about tax legislation and regulations
  • Responding to inquiries from tax authorities, including the IRS and state agencies
  • Assessing the scope of each project to effectively manage timelines, budgets, and deadlines
  • Ensuring compliance with deadlines and budgetary constraints
  • Overseeing, delegating tasks, and providing training to team members
  • Guiding and mentoring staff in their professional growth
  • Managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Engaging directly with partners and clients
  • Contributing to business development by generating leads, enhancing client services, and networking within the community
  • Assisting with client invoicing

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Taxation or a related field
  • CPA certification
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
