Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. Below are the key details regarding this role:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support and configuration for enterprise-grade ESXi servers and VMware server software.
  • Design, plan, test, implement, support, and troubleshoot extensive VMware installations.
  • Manage operations related to ESXi server implementations, including VLAN, VMC, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Utilize Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator, and Aria Operations effectively.
  • Employ PowerShell/PowerCLI scripting for automation and management tasks.
  • Collaborate with the IT Enterprise Hosting Services team on daily operations and ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in supporting enterprise-grade ESXi servers and VMware server software.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale VMware solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of ESXi server operations and configurations.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud implementations and data center operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Expectations:

  • Assist in daily operations, troubleshooting VMware and ESXi Server issues, and developing new designs.
  • Manage maintenance windows and perform other tasks as required to ensure optimal system performance.
