Our team of rental specialists is focused on delivering exceptional service and is expanding to include talented individuals who thrive in dynamic environments.
Job Opportunity:
As a rapidly expanding HVAC rental organization, we offer a range of services including equipment rental, installation, and maintenance. We are in search of a dedicated individual to oversee project management and maintenance for our rental equipment. This role involves servicing and maintaining rented equipment while being available for 24/7 delivery needs. A strong customer service orientation and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members are essential. The position requires frequent communication with coordinators and clients, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Successfully complete installations of rental equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, and cleaning of equipment.
- Manage rental projects through site visits, developing equipment lists, and estimating labor needs.
- Engage with sales teams, customers, and vendors to ensure high responsiveness.
- Analyze costs against estimates to maintain budget integrity.
- Represent the company positively to contractors, trades, and clients.
- Advise clients on the proper operation of rental equipment.
- Propose additional services that may benefit the customer.
- Collaborate in a team-oriented environment to share information and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Submit necessary documentation to the General Manager promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Be available for overtime and weekend work as required (On Call 24/7 to support business needs).
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
Valid Driver's License
Ability to lift/exert force of 60-75 lbs or more
Competence in driving large trucks and towing trailers as necessary
HVAC Certification & Universal EPA Certification preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Skills and Abilities:
Language Skills:
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Proficient in writing correspondence and effectively presenting information in small group settings.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret graphs and ratios.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.
Environmental and Physical Requirements:
Work may be performed in an office environment and occasionally in the field. Regularly required to use hands for computer operations, stand, walk, and sit. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and possess specific vision abilities.
