Responsibilities
- Oversee the nursing department, including staff management, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Sunrise Senior Living's standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
- Monitor and evaluate resident care outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives to promote continuous quality improvement
- Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff to meet the needs of the community
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum two years of experience in nursing leadership, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living setting
- Proven track record of improving resident satisfaction and quality metrics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
