Zachary Piper Solutions is in search of a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to contribute to a significant program that supports advanced aerospace initiatives. This role involves on-site collaboration and requires a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance. The MBSE will play a crucial role in enhancing simulation-driven and mission-oriented analysis efforts by assisting in the design and development of intricate space-based systems.
Key Responsibilities for the MBSE include:
- Developing system models to facilitate mission-level modeling, simulation, and analysis utilizing AFSIM
- Assisting in system integration, verification, and validation processes
- Defining and evaluating satellite missions, addressing conceptual challenges, and creating methodologies for modeling
- Incorporating newly introduced technologies into the AFSIM M&S suite
- Designing and developing architectures for space-based systems
Essential Qualifications for the MBSE include:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in MBSE and Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
- Proficiency with Cameo and/or SparxEA applications
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field
- An active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
Compensation for the MBSE includes:
Salary range of $100,000-170,000, which is dependent on the level of education and cumulative years of experience.
