Position Overview:

The Professional Learning Facilitator plays a crucial role in enhancing the job readiness of participants through structured educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive 3-5 day orientation schedule that incorporates essential work readiness topics in collaboration with the team lead.
  • Organize and lead workshops, webinars, orientations, and various classroom activities aimed at equipping job seekers with the necessary skills for their career journeys.
  • Maintain an updated catalog of all educational opportunities provided by the Professional Learning team.
  • Design and implement programming schedules for Virtual Reality, Orientation/Testing, and Workforce Readiness sessions.
  • Deliver classroom instruction on diverse subjects to prepare participants for job readiness and successful job searches.
  • Engage and inspire participants to cultivate the skills required for securing employment.
  • Facilitate group activities that promote self-esteem and confidence among participants.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Development Team to enhance job search and placement efforts, focusing on maximizing retention rates.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of workshop data, including attendance records, evaluations, and reporting materials.
  • Administer pre and post surveys to fulfill the data collection needs of the organization.
  • Document all activities in the WIT Case Management system.
  • Coordinate online learning initiatives; assign relevant courses aligned with individual employment plans and monitor progress.
  • Conduct assessments of skills, aptitudes, and abilities to tailor learning experiences.
  • Research and deliver appropriate curriculum to meet course objectives effectively.
  • Utilize various online learning resources, including The Academy, LinkedIn Learning, and Metrix, to support participants in achieving permanent employment.
  • Prepare adequately for all training sessions, ensuring all materials and room setups are in place.
  • Adapt course content based on employer feedback to cultivate a strong talent pool.
  • Perform additional training and management duties as assigned.
  • Enhance the job readiness scores of participants and provide a steady pipeline of work-ready candidates.
  • Conduct follow-up outreach to students who are not actively engaged in classroom activities and document these efforts.
  • Maintain student assessments in files and databases.
  • Exhibit effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Carry out other responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures, languages, and educational backgrounds in a classroom environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and facilitation, particularly in career preparation.
  • Strong public speaking and guided learning skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing and proof of current automobile insurance.
