Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Lear Corp. in Hammond, IN. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing quality products in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and/or fit parts together to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench or a conveyor line.
  • Operate manual material handling equipment to re-stock production areas with raw material or purchased parts.
  • Move wheeled carts, racks, bins containing work in progress to adjacent production areas.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and solving any production related problems.
  • Inspect product quality and disassemble scrap products, salvage material.
Requirements
  • Light to medium manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to pass pre-hire requirements, including background check, drug screening, and physical demand testing.
