Key Responsibilities

  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to broken plumbing systems, including sewer lines, kitchen, and bathroom plumbing, drain cleaning, water heaters, and water leaks.
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Utilize your understanding of existing infrastructure, including electrical wiring, to determine the best course of action for repairs and replacements.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain plumbing equipment, parts, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Blueprints and Drawings: Utilize blueprints and drawings to understand plumbing layouts and plans, ensuring accurate installations and repairs.
  • Safety and Quality: Safely cut, assemble, and install pipes and other fittings, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years of successful plumbing experience, including an understanding of both residential and commercial water distribution and disposal systems.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Diploma or certificate from a trade school, or completion of an apprenticeship. State plumbing license (Journeyman or Master preferred).
  • Skills: Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment, valid driver's license, and ability to pass a background check, including driver's license verification and drug test.
  • Soft Skills: Good physical condition, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
