About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at ArchCare, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care for a specific unit during your shift.
  • Receive report from previous shift, ensuring that you have received all pertinent information on each resident.
  • Continuously evaluate behavior, symptoms, reactions, and progress of residents and discuss findings with Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
  • Administer and document all medications according to established policies and procedures, physician's orders, and Department of Health regulations.
  • Perform all treatments according to physician's specific order and established policies and procedures.
  • Discuss the need to discontinue or change a medication or treatment with the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
  • Order prescribed medications, notify pharmacy of discontinued medications, and ensure accuracy of medications and dosages when received from pharmacy.

Requirements

  • Current NY State Registered Nurse License
  • Associate Degree
  • BSN Preferred
