Job Summary

Vighter is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Provider to join our team at the Northwest ICE Processing Center in Tacoma, WA. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient interviews, medical history reviews, and mental status examinations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, and other therapeutic interventions.
  • Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications to treat mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and others.
  • Provide psychotherapy, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and other evidence-based approaches.
  • Collaborate with patients to set treatment goals and monitor progress over time.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or equivalent.
  • Current and valid medical license to practice in Louisiana.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions.
  • Experience in both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care settings is preferred.
