Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team as a Senior ISTS Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the ISTS, including the user interface, back-end services, database interactions, and integration with external systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the ISTS, including the user interface, back-end services, database interactions, and integration with external systems.
  • Develop secure authentication mechanisms, encryption of data, and implementation of role-based access controls.
  • Manage the database schema and structures to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and integrity.
  • Conduct thorough testing of the ISTS, including unit testing, integration testing, and security testing.
  • Identify and fix bugs to ensure the system meets all functional and performance requirements.
  • Assist in the deployment of the ISTS to the contractor-hosted environment.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for the ISTS, including system architecture, code documentation, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a defense or aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, testing, and security.
  • Experience with database management systems and data modeling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain a NACI background check.
