Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to meet established standards of cleanliness and propriety.
  • Room Preparation: Retrieve items from shelves and storerooms, set up cleaning carts with supplies, and maintain carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Deep Cleaning: Clean and wipe windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in rooms, public areas, and hallways.
  • Laundry and Linen: Wash, dry, and fold laundry, and restock linen and room amenities.
  • Guest Room Maintenance: Check and replace towels, soaps, and other room amenities, and ensure that rooms are clean and sanitary.
  • Public Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment, and report any issues to management.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and efficiently throughout the hotel.
