Position Summary:
The Sales Operations Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing sales operations projects within the solar division. This position necessitates robust project management capabilities, a comprehensive understanding of sales operations, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with various departments. The successful candidate will adeptly manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring that all sales operations initiatives are executed with efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Direct and oversee sales operations projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.
- Create detailed project plans, establish timelines, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Track project progress and implement adjustments as needed to guarantee successful outcomes.
- Sales Operations:
- Manage the daily functions of the sales team, ensuring that processes and systems operate seamlessly.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to formulate and execute strategies aimed at enhancing sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Examine sales data and metrics to pinpoint trends, identify areas for enhancement, and uncover growth opportunities.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Engage closely with other departments, including marketing, finance, customer service, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Facilitate communication and cooperation among teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Process Enhancement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize sales operations and boost productivity.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales processes, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and analyze sales reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure sales targets are achieved or surpassed.
- Training and Support:
- Offer training and assistance to the sales team regarding sales operations processes, tools, and systems.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and issues related to sales operations, providing timely and effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and sales operations, preferably within the solar sector.
- Demonstrated success in managing and delivering complex projects.
- Strong grasp of sales operations, processes, and systems.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and sales operations tools.
- PMP or a similar project management certification is advantageous.
