We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist with processing and reporting of test results.
- Maintain a positive and supportive attitude, working collaboratively with fellow teammates to achieve common goals.
- Adhere to employer policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- AS degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or BS in Medical Laboratory Science.
- ASCP MLS/MLT certification or equivalent, or eligibility for national MLS/MLT certification.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
The normal performance of duties may require lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequent walking and/or standing are also required. Manual dexterity is necessary for the use of various laboratory instruments and apparatuses.
