Job Summary

The LPN (Medical) provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical staff. This role requires a high level of professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients with a range of physical and behavioral health needs
  • Work collaboratively with medical and psychiatric staff to respond to patient needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
  • Conduct health assessments and develop care plans for patients
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
  • Must be appropriately certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check
