Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN will be responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinating care delivery to ensure that residents' needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice. This role requires a strong understanding of gerontological nursing, including dementia care, and the ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment.
Responsibilities:- Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinate care delivery
- Ensure that residents' needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice
- Read and interpret thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- 2-3 years of clinical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Gerontological nursing experience, including dementia care, preferred
- Valid and current LPN/LVN state license
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
