Overview: The Culinary Expediter is essential in guaranteeing that all prepared dishes uphold exceptional standards of presentation and quality prior to serving to patrons. Below are the details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and synchronize all outgoing dishes from the kitchen
  • Ensure exceptional standards of dish presentation and food quality

Specific Duties:

  • Receive and process all incoming food orders
  • Record tickets and ensure cooking times are met or surpassed
  • Facilitate communication between kitchen and service staff
  • Execute all plate presentations according to specifications
  • Conduct a final quality assessment on dishes for presentation, temperature, garnishing, and timing
  • Coordinate food delivery with service runners
  • Establish and maintain an organized expeditor station throughout the shift

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Must be mobile throughout the entire shift
  • Basic reading, writing, mathematical, and verbal communication skills are necessary
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
  • Capability to respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Physical requirements include prolonged standing, fast-paced movement, clear communication, good balance, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds
