Overnight RN Caregiver

We are looking for an experienced Overnight RN to join our team at Regency Park Nursing & Rehab Carroll. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents during overnight shifts.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional care. Our facility has been recognized with Telligen's B.E.S.T in Class Award, highlighting our commitment to safety and quality care for our residents.
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $85,000 to $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a $5,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents during overnight shifts, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor residents for changes in health status and report significant findings to the physician or nursing supervisor.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing appropriate care and ensuring a safe environment for all residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including CNAs, physicians, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
- Ensure infection control standards are adhered to, following facility policies.
- Provide education and emotional support to residents and their families as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continually enhance the standard of care at the facility.
- Support the nursing team with training and mentorship of new staff members as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Iowa.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and professionalism in all interactions with residents, families, and staff.
