Job Title: Dietitian Nutritionist I

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team at Clara Maass Medical Center, a 450-bed community hospital in Belleville, NJ. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition care to patients and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nutrition care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process and nutrition standards of care
  • Participate in performance improvement and outcome measurement initiatives
  • Serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team and participate in group education classes, committees, and community outreach events
  • Mentor and train dietetic interns
  • Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian credential and interest in both inpatient and outpatient nutrition
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs
  • A history of working independently with little direction and with a positive outlook
  • A commitment to continued education in the nutrition field
