Job Summary

Warren Fabricating is seeking a highly skilled Steel Fabrication Supervisor to lead our heavy fabrication team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and driving productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement departmental strategies to improve production efficiency and quality.
  • Train and mentor new team members on fabrication processes and company procedures.
  • Monitor and control production processes to meet company expectations.
  • Manage and maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Evaluate and improve team performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule jobs, assigning tasks to team members to meet production deadlines.
  • Ensure accurate material usage and storage, verifying correct materials are being used.
  • Record and track gas usage, monitoring company gas consumption.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control and Operations teams to ensure timely inspections and meet schedule requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, estimating hours for tasks and suggesting cost-saving measures.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in steel manufacturing, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and training skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
