Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Bioconjugation Scientist within Abbott's Rapid Diagnostics division. This role involves overseeing technical manufacturing processes and performing laboratory analytical tasks within the Toxicology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conjugation of various molecules for diagnostic product development
  • Purification and assessment of enzymes
  • Transfer of methods and execution of assays
  • Analysis of data and thorough documentation
  • Maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Ensuring quality management and regulatory compliance
  • Collaboration across departments
  • Additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1-3 years of applicable experience
  • Experience in a chemical diagnostics laboratory and cGMP settings
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory methodologies
  • Familiarity with scientific notation and database management software

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of medical devices or diagnostic products
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and sound judgment
  • Ability to analyze diverse scopes and implement solutions
