Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Synchrony Health Services is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our in-house travel therapy team. If you are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and possess the necessary qualifications, we would like to hear from you.

Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist with Synchrony Health Services, you will provide therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention, in various facilities and outpatient care settings. You will travel to different locations, with possible overnight stays, and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments and contribute to interdisciplinary care plans
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and provide feedback to the team
  • Document the course of patient care and participate in survey preparation activities
  • Provide patient and family education for continued functional independence
  • Function as a resource for employees and provide in-service/cross-training on occupational therapy
Qualifications and Education:

To be successful in this role, you must hold a graduate degree from a four-year bachelor's degree program approved by the CAHEA of the AMA in collaboration with the AOTA. You must also possess an applicable, unrestricted state license and maintain current CPR Certification. Two years' experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care environment is preferred.
