Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy services under a physician-approved plan of care, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the service delivery process.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address patients' unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Supervise home health aides as needed, ensuring high-quality care and support for patients.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of assignment.
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
  • Eligible to take, or has successfully completed, the entry-level certification examination for occupational therapists developed and administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).
  • One year of related occupational therapy experience, with approval from regional clinical leaders required for less than one year of experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
