About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Weld Quality Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Co. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our automotive white bodies and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex problem-solving analysis and investigations to identify quality issues and develop effective countermeasures.
  • Perform technical analysis of mass production processes to minimize customer concerns and improve quality.
  • Review new model drawings and identify potential problems, working with cross-functional teams to implement countermeasures.
  • Analyze proposed countermeasures and manage change point control to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain quality standards and scorecards to track progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in project management and problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Catia and Enovia software, with experience in 2D/3D modeling.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office products.
