Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve utility invoices from the FileNet system managed by the Business Service Center.
- Ensure receipt of utility invoices for all facilities during each billing cycle.
- Conduct thorough audits of utility invoices to verify accuracy in charges and consumption.
- Seek reimbursement from utility providers for any discrepancies in billing.
- Identify billing issues and unusual consumption patterns, reporting findings to the Energy Manager.
- Analyze trends and peak billing periods for the Energy Manager's review.
- Utilize trend analysis to develop visual representations such as graphs, charts, and reports as necessary.
- Regularly assess meter data and reconcile with billed charges.
- Assist the Energy Manager in enhancing the current metering program by providing detailed spreadsheets regarding site energy requirements.
- Employ auditing tools within the Utility Manager Pro/Energy Center software to ensure data accuracy and analyze utility consumption patterns for potential energy savings and identify anomalies indicating excessive usage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management, or relevant experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of analytical experience in a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with effective planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (especially Excel), database management, and project management/accounting software (Oracle preferred).
