The Clinical Quality Analytics and Informatics team at Blue Shield of California is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Quality Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Clinical Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering best-in-class clinical quality analytics and informatics to enable high-quality and affordable member-centered care.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets to identify trends and insights that inform quality strategy and performance improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain advanced data systems and applications to support reporting requirements and business intelligence needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HEDIS data, Clinical Quality Analytics, and Medical Record Review, to support quality performance improvement initiatives.
- Design and execute workplans for analyses of high complexity, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights to stakeholders.
- Identify business risks related to report design and production, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Collect and analyze data from various internal and external systems to provide actionable insights that guide business decision-making for Blue Shield of California populations' health management and quality of care.
- Produce high-quality reports and dashboards that support quality ratings systems, such as NCQA Stars/Accreditation, Medicare Stars, Medi-Cal Managed Care Accountability Sets, Quality Transformation Initiative, and Quality Rating System.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Clinical Quality Analyst with a strong background in clinical quality analytics and informatics. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment and be able to communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
