Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Part Time Faculty to teach courses in Latin American and Latino Studies at DePaul University. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and teaching experience in a diverse learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Latin American and Latino Studies, including introductory and advanced courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with departmental goals and objectives
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental decision-making
Requirements
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Latin American and Latino Studies or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching in a diverse learning environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching courses in Latin American and Latino Studies
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

DePaul University offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement plan.
