Teaching Opportunities in African and Black Diaspora Studies

DePaul University invites expressions of interest for a pool of qualified Part Time Faculty to teach courses in African and Black Diaspora Studies.

The Department of African and Black Diaspora Studies within the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences seeks individuals with expertise in teaching courses related to African and Black Diaspora Studies. Applicants with a Master's degree in Black Studies, African Diaspora Studies, African American Studies, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include teaching courses in a variety of disciplines, including Literary and Cultural Studies, Historical Studies, Urban Studies, Cultural Anthropology, Latin American and/or Caribbean Studies, Popular Culture Studies, Cultural Geography, and Gender and Sexuality Studies.

Applicants should have demonstrated experience in teaching in a diverse learning environment and possess strong teaching skills. Teaching experience at the college level is strongly preferred.

Requirements
