Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse I is a key member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment. As a Registered Nurse I, you will be responsible for delivering patient care to assigned patients, supervising other qualified staff, and implementing care plans in accordance with Northern Light Health Standards of Care/Practice and the State of Maine Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities:

Provides safe and effective patient care by using best practices during hand-off communication and when reporting patient care information.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills in location, operation, and care of equipment, promoting a safe environment for patients and staff.
Performs and documents systematic assessments according to established criteria, recognizing and responding to abnormal diagnostic data.
Develops and maintains a professional and personable relationship with patients, families, and staff, treating patients with courtesy and respect.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Maine.
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
Ability to lift, move, and load 30 to 50 pounds, with flexibility to work alternate shift schedules.
