This position involves assisting patients with daily living and providing nursing care. Responsibilities include performing and documenting rounds of patients receiving medical or psychiatric care, reporting changes in patients' conditions to the Registered Nurse (RN), obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing, and completing required documentation of patient care.

Requirements
  • CNA Certificate or CNA State License
  • BLS certification
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $26,272 - $28,448 per month, depending on experience and location. This rate includes both travel and local compensation.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Assisting patients with daily living and providing nursing care.
  • Performing and documenting rounds of patients receiving medical or psychiatric care.
  • Reporting changes in patients' conditions to the Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing.
  • Assisting other non-custody staff in providing patient care.
  • Preparing documentation for patient transfers to other institutions/facilities or special appointments.
  • Completing required documentation of patient care.
  • Cleaning, maintaining, and checking equipment.
