Overview

As a Krispy Kreme Customer Service Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. This position is focused on ensuring that every guest receives prompt, friendly service while maintaining the quality and freshness of our doughnuts.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurately fulfilling customer orders by retrieving items from various storage areas and serving beverages.
  • Managing challenging customer interactions with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Promoting additional sales through suggested selling techniques, including upselling products and sizes.
  • Efficiently operating the point-of-sale system in accordance with company training protocols.
  • Utilizing retail equipment, such as coffee and soda machines, effectively and safely.
  • Processing cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring correct change is provided.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of doughnut displays.
  • Counting cash drawer at the start and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
  • Upholding a neat and professional appearance, including wearing a name tag.
  • Following product handling procedures as outlined in the training manual.
  • Employing proper cleaning methods as specified in company guidelines.
  • Adhering to health and sanitation standards as required by local regulations.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.
  • Completing any additional assigned tasks as needed.

Supervisory Role:

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Comprehensive understanding of departmental standards relevant to the position.
  • Flexibility to work in various departments as required.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively.
  • Possession of a valid health card in applicable states.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with at least three months of relevant experience or training.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read and understand basic instructions and correspondence in English, as well as communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.

Mathematical Skills:

Capability to perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and solve problems in straightforward situations.

Additional Requirements:

Commitment to teamwork, a professional appearance, and a proactive attitude. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Work Environment:

The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, and moderate heat. The noise level is typically moderate.

Physical Requirements

Employees in this role must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 10 pounds regularly. Regular use of hands for grasping and reaching is also required.
