Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement complex features and ensure the stability of the WordPress platform.
  • Optimize website performance, ensuring speed, scalability, and security best practices.
  • Develop custom design patterns and reusable components for various WordPress projects.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and tools to enhance site functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance problems.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and best practices.
  • Manage version control using GitLab, with experience in CI/CD pipelines being an advantage.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects.
  • Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Extensive experience developing WordPress themes, templates, design patterns, and plugins.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
  • Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for web development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and user experience.
  • MUST be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • MUST be in the US.
  • MUST NOT be a vendor or third-party.
