About the Job

This is a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work nights in our PCU/West Spine department. As a Critical Care Nurse at Longview Regional Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and helping to create a culture of compassion and excellence.

Job Duties

As a Critical Care Nurse at Longview Regional Medical Center, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and managing patient acuity
  • Supervising and directing activities of licensed and unlicensed caregivers and support staff
  • Using independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources
  • Ensuring that Longview Regional Medical Center's values are reflected in all aspects of the department's operation
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current Texas RN license or current Compact state license
  • AHA Healthcare provider BLS; ACLS required within 6 months of transfer or hire if not current
  • Critical Care Level 1 obtained within first 6 months of hire
  • Advanced certifications and training in Critical Care Nursing preferred
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program
