Graphic Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Artist to join our team at Serco North America. As a Graphic Artist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Public Assistance recovery initiatives in Zone 2 across the Midwest.

• Assist in the development of PA Program guidance documents and tools
• Create and provide training aids, instructor guides, student manuals, and web-based training for PA course instruction
• Provide technical, technical editing, graphic development, and formatting for PA documents

• 5 years minimum of prior FEMA Public Assistance (PA) experience
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field and 5 years of experience in a related field; OR 10 years of experience in graphic design or in a related field
• Experience with graphics creation
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the recovery arena
• An adult learning background and experience
• 1-2 years of experience providing training support
• The ability to obtain and maintain FEMA Public Trust
• A United States Citizenship
• The ability to maintain FEMA specific trainings
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
• The ability to deploy to any location in Zone 2 with a 24–48-hour notice after Task Order Award
• The ability to go on 6–12-month deployments at a minimum
• Experience and comfortability using a smart phone
• The ability to work independently, in a team environment and under stressful conditions with tight deadlines

• Knowledge of the FEMA Public Assistance Program/Policy
• Trained in the Public Assistance delivery model preferred
• Active FEMA badge
