Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced electrical power systems engineer to lead the design and development of our spacecraft power electronics and DC-DC power converters.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement electrical power system designs for spacecraft applications.
  • Lead electrical power system and sub-system level design trades and develop requirements.
  • Define and perform electrical power system verification testing and analysis.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create new power electronics hardware.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in power converter development.
  • Experience with DC-DC power converter development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science degree or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Proven track record of generating original power converter designs from requirements.
  • Expertise in current mode control, compensation design, and loop gain measurements.
  • Familiarity with magnetics and practical design of custom transformers and inductors.
  • Experience in modeling, simulation, and testing of power electronics.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
