Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to inmates in a correctional facility
  • Administer medications and immunizations as needed
  • Conduct admissions and emergency first aid
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Active Louisiana LPN license
  • Minimum 1 year of prior nursing experience
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Corrections nursing experience is a plus
  • Ability to pass a background check
