Job Summary
Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for assisting with cardiovascular procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the insertion of catheters into the heart and measure and administer special fluids.
- Transfer stable patients to recovery rooms following the completion of procedures.
- Assist with the cleaning, maintenance, setup, and testing of EP lab equipment.
- Answer questions from patients and family members prior to the procedure.
- Monitor EKG readouts and report any irregularities to the doctor.
- Inspect and test EKG equipment prior to patient procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures (cleaning, shaving, etc.).
- Anesthetize the area of insertion for angioplasties.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree.
- Telemetry Certification or ability to obtain certification.
- One year of experience as a Cardiac Catheterization Technician.
- Current AHA BLS.
