Job Description:

The Radiologic Technologist performs a range of CT and X-ray examinations while adhering to safety protocols and industry-standard imaging practices. This role involves collaboration with physicians and clinical staff to ensure patients receive the highest level of care throughout their treatment. Technologists in this position will handle a variety of radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable imaging procedures in both emergency and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in the radiology department
  • Conduct portable radiographic procedures in emergency and inpatient settings
  • Assist in surgical, endoscopic, and tomographic imaging procedures as needed
  • Perform quality assurance tasks on imaging equipment as required
  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safety for both patients and healthcare providers
  • Work with physicians and medical offices to deliver optimal imaging results in line with treatment plans

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited two-year or four-year program in Radiologic Technology, accredited by ARRT or JRCERT Required
  • 1 year of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist Preferred
  • ARRT registered or registry eligible Required
  • Current BLS Certification Required
