Job Summary

Bollinger Shipyards is seeking a skilled Numerical Control Operator to join our team in Lockport, LA. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for operating metal fabrication equipment to produce high-quality marine structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal fabrication equipment to bend and cut materials to precise specifications.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position or related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with standard marine practices and construction specifications.
  • Proficiency in operating metal fabrication equipment and hand tools.
  • Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
