Outpatient Registered Nurse

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our dialysis program.
Job Summary:The Outpatient Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, providing direct patient care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician or supervisor.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis treatment and related health issues.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a dialysis setting.
- Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
