Job Summary:

We are seeking a Nutrition Support Technician to join our team at Unidine. In this role, you will work closely with our dietitian to support patients with their nutritional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a real difference in people's lives.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, at our 138-bed skilled nursing facility in Atlanta, GA. As a Nutrition Support Technician, your primary responsibility will be to assist with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning. You will also help patients complete their menu selections and ensure that all guidelines are followed as outlined in our Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning
  • Support patients in completing menu selections
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the nutrition team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs

Requirements:

  • Credentialed as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related Science, required
  • One year of hospital experience, preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
