Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and acknowledge every customer, approach and offer assistance to every customer, and provide a positive and welcoming shopping experience.
  • Merchandise Display: Merchandise product displays to create interest for customers and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the store, including restocking shelves and disposing of trash.
  • Sales: Proactively seek opportunities to upsell and add-on additional merchandise to enhance the customer's experience.
  • Inventory Management: Proactively patrol the store to prevent theft, safety, inventory, and operational concerns, and communicate them to the appropriate individuals.
  • Scheduling: Maintain schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
  • Task Completion: Complete assigned duties and tasks, and follow applicable company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prefer 2 years of retail customer service experience.
  • Skills: Computer literacy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

This job requires bending, stooping, reaching, standing, lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive tasks. Sales Associates must be able to lift and handle objects weighing 50lbs or more in a safe manner, and stand for up to 100% of their shift.

Working Conditions:

This is an entry-level position with minimal supervisory functions. Sales Associates will work in a retail environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.
