Sterling Engineering Inc. is seeking skilled Project Architects to become part of a dynamic architectural firm located in the Rosemont area. This role offers the chance to collaborate with leading retail and restaurant brands across the nation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely completion of projects by actively engaging with the project team.
  • Assist project teams in creating design documentation.
  • Provide architectural guidance to Project Managers across various projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD/Revit and other software for creating layouts and diagrams.
  • Help in preparing and modifying construction drawings (for bidding, permits, and client reviews).
  • Draft and update various architectural documents (including site plans and floor plans).
  • Conduct research and document landlord criteria, building codes, and local regulations.
  • Interpret and apply compliance with state and local codes.
  • Coordinate with external consultants (civil, structural, etc.) and client vendors.
  • Communicate directly with manufacturers/vendors to obtain product specifications.
  • Assist in performing site observations and assessing existing building conditions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD is essential.
  • Experience with rendering software is preferred.
  • Ensure quality drawing production through QA/QC of personal work before submission to Project Manager.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to learning and mastering tasks through proactive engagement.
