Sterling Engineering Inc. is seeking skilled Project Architects to become part of a dynamic architectural firm located in the Rosemont area. This role offers the chance to collaborate with leading retail and restaurant brands across the nation. The workplace fosters a positive culture with significant opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure timely completion of projects by actively engaging with the project team.
- Assist project teams in creating design documentation.
- Provide architectural guidance to Project Managers across various projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD/Revit and other software for creating layouts and diagrams.
- Help in preparing and modifying construction drawings (for bidding, permits, and client reviews).
- Draft and update various architectural documents (including site plans and floor plans).
- Conduct research and document landlord criteria, building codes, and local regulations.
- Interpret and apply compliance with state and local codes.
- Coordinate with external consultants (civil, structural, etc.) and client vendors.
- Communicate directly with manufacturers/vendors to obtain product specifications.
- Assist in performing site observations and assessing existing building conditions.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD is essential.
- Experience with rendering software is preferred.
- Ensure quality drawing production through QA/QC of personal work before submission to Project Manager.
- Demonstrate a commitment to learning and mastering tasks through proactive engagement.
