Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the development of Upbound Cloud and contribute to Upbound's open-source initiatives, particularly Crossplane.
  • Take charge of implementing features that are highly requested by Upbound's clientele, delivering innovative functionalities that will impress our users.
  • Produce comprehensive and well-thought-out design documents for new projects.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle for scalable and dependable services operating in a cloud setting, including discovery, analysis, architecture, design, review, documentation, construction, migration, automation, deployment, production readiness, and support.
  • Write and maintain Go code that interacts with the Kubernetes API, including operators, controllers, add-ons, etc.
  • Deploy and manage our Kubernetes services effectively.
  • Create documentation, user manuals, and blog articles to support and showcase new features you develop.
  • Participate in on-call duties to support Upbound Cloud.

  • Have a background in building and maintaining cloud services, including CI/CD, observability, scaling, and possess an owner-operator mindset regarding their code.
