Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain aseptic environments and equipment.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of surgeons and patients.

  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
  • 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Surgical Technologist registration required.
  • Eligibility for Surgical Technologist registration via Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • BLS certification via AHA.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) preferred.
