Position Overview

Part-Time Forklift Operator I

Shift: 3pm - 8pm, Monday to Saturday

Hours: 20-25 hours weekly

Starting Pay: $16 per hour

The Part-Time Forklift Operator I plays a vital role in various tasks within the warehouse, which may include operating a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Forklift. Responsibilities include building pallets, unloading inbound shipments, loading outbound products, and replenishing stock in designated areas. This position involves moving throughout the warehouse to collect and stack specific products as per the assigned Pick Ticket while adhering to safety, accuracy, and efficiency standards. Additional tasks may include pallet stacking, handling damaged items, and utilizing a Pallet Jack when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely retrieve and organize product cases onto pallets according to the assigned pick ticket, ensuring stability and safety.
  • Efficiently unload incoming products and transport them to designated storage areas within the warehouse.
  • Load outgoing products by moving them from storage areas to loading docks, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Replenish stock in the warehouse pick and mezzanine areas by transporting items to their assigned locations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, performing additional tasks as requested by management.
  • May be assigned other duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification preferred: Pallet Jack, Single Forklift, Double Forklift, Scrubber.
Work Environment

Work in a noisy, non-temperature-controlled environment with varying temperatures.
