Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at U-Haul, you will be the face of our exceptional service, ensuring that customers receive all the help they need on their journeys. This role involves working as part of a supportive team to inspect and maintain equipment, assist customers, and dispatch and return equipment using up-to-date technology.

We offer a competitive salary of $25-$35 per hour, depending on location and experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including health insurance, prescription plans, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days, if eligible.

About the Role
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for:
  • Assisting customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
  • Using smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
  • Moving and hooking up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
  • Cleaning and inspecting equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
  • Answering questions and educating customers regarding products and services.
  • Preparing rental invoices and accepting equipment returned from rental.
  • Installing hitches and trailer wiring.
  • Filling propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
  • Driving a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment
This role involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
